In 1991 after a life in education I trained in human
therapy; first hands-on then from 1994 both hands-on and
running my own School of Massage. By 1998 I was working with
horses and created my Diploma in Equine Therapies.
Today I offer treatments, workshops and professional
training and in 2010 the Pat Ki Diploma in Equine Massage
course was formally inspected and accredited by the FHT.
All these *therapies can produce dramatic results but
massage fascinates me because it generates a special
relationship between horse and human and has a profound
effect at both the physical and mental level. (We see
‘brumbies’ soften and bond with their owners).
I have one mare, Jess and together we enjoy meeting new
challenges whether with groundwork or riding out, I also
appreciate the day to day physicality of caring for her:
grooming, massaging her and trimming her feet. She is my
special teacher.
