In Nicolas words . . .
|
|
I have ridden since before I could walk, and in the past
have competed in riding club area events both show jumping, and in horse
trials. I have also evented to intermediate level. I now compete in dressage
(medium level) as I am not as brave as I used to be!
|
|
I mainly work with competition horses looking after
them both before and after competitions, and I work a lot in conjunction
with a Mctimoney - Corley chiropractor as the combination of manipulation and
soft tissue work proves a very effective combination in the care of
horses.
|
|
Alongside the massage therapy I am also an Animal
Flower Essence Therapist and Reiki Master. With these safe though
effective therapies I deal with emotional and behavioural problems in all
animals, not just horses, and I will often work alongside an Animal
Behaviourist and was recently asked to appear on the BBC's Big Breakfast.
The use of Flower Essences and Reiki in horse and rider before
competitions can also be a big benefit to keep any nerves under control, and
I often incorporate both modalities into my massage sessions.
