I offer a mobile service for relaxation, general maintenance and
re-cooperation to both humans and equines. These sessions are not a
replacement for a Veterinary Surgeon or a General Practitioner. I
specialise in equine/human massage by combining my past 25 years of
Registered Mental Nursing skills, 34 years of experience within the equine
world, 13 years of human massage skills and my recently acquired equine
massage training skills.
|
|
On my first visit to my client be it human or equine I obtain a
pre-massage assessment. The first session may take up to 2hrs, but a
comprehensive background history is obtained, giving me the foundation to
build my therapy session upon, this enabling me to provide a tailor made
massage session to meet the individual’s needs. Each session is recorded
in a case-report.
|
|
I work within the code of conducts of the Federation
of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the National Association of Registered Equine
Massage Therapists (N.A.R.E.M.T.)

I also offer a gift voucher service, and discount to

My Background
|
|
I was brought up on a hill farm on the Island of Arran, where my parents
ran a Trekking Centre. I found my love of horses at a very early age, as
every wakening moment that I can remember, was spent on or around them. I
was a member of the Arran Riding Club, and later joined the Linlithgow and
Stirlingshire Branch of the Pony Club. (Still have involvement – many
years on!!!)
|
|
My love of horses continued throughout my teenage years, spending much of
my time working with young and ‘difficult’ horses, this experience
left me with feelings of great compassion, empathy and understanding of my
equine friends, a foundation that was to be the basis of my new found
career.
