In Sarahs words . . .

'Equipoise' Therapy treats each horse as an individual case with recognition to the horses need for natural balance.

By discovering the origins, patterns and behaviour of each horses muscular stress, I am able to eliminate the causes of each horses 'artificial balance', encouraging the horse to reestablish his natural balance.

Recognising the needs and demands of todays working horse, I provide both pre-activity and post activity therapy, optimally preparing each horse for its forthcoming physical demands, aswell as encouraging optimal rejuvenation of the horses physical and emotional healing process both immediately, and long after his work is finished.

Working with these values, Equipoise Therapy works with specifically devised hands on techniques, without the use of electronic equipment.

Combining this recognition along with my skills as an Equine Massage Therapist, I work with each horse to individually assess, treat and advise accordingly, and although I will not guarantee instant miracles, I do guarantee that your horse will succumb to the experience just like us humans do.

The first session generally lasts between 1 to 2 hours when an initial assessment is performed so that the forthcoming treatment can be one suited to the individual horse with his individual concerns.

All clients receive written report cards, detailing both the assessment and the treatment provided.
